The Northern Great Dane Club takes the health of our dogs seriously and supports the breeds involvement in a number projects including the research currently being carried out by the University of Liverpool Small Animal Teaching Hospital into DILATED CARDIOMYOPATHY (DCM).
The Great Dane Breed Council (GDBC) has a Health Coordinator and Health Sub-Committee which liaises with various animal health organisations including the Kennel Club and the University of Liverpool.
