GREAT DANE BREED COUNCIL
We are one of the 8 UK Great Dane breed clubs that provides delegates to the Great Dane Breed Council.
The Breed Council is the consultative and information centre of excellence for the Breed;
The Breed Council is the breeds “single point of contact” for The Kennel Club on all matters and its “voice” is recognised by them;
The Breed Council arranges for Evaluators for Judges awarding CC’s for the first time and informs the Kennel Club if the nominee meets the Breed Council judging criteria;
A Judges List is maintained by the Breed Council and the List/Criteria have been adopted by the member Clubs;
A Hereditary Register is maintained by the Breed Health Coordinator.
