Firstly, I would like to thank The Northern Great Dane Club, for inviting me to judge their first back 2 back Open Show with Blackpool Championship Show and to all exhibitors who entered under me. Secondly, to the stewards Phil & Paul, who kept the classes running smoothly. I was pleased that I had the pleasure of going over some quality dogs, especially the youngsters coming through.

Level head planes, tight eyes. She is bum high at the moment, going through a growth spurt, and needs the front catch up. |

Nice head planes but with a bit more drop of lip than I would have liked. Ample reach of neck flowing into well set shoulders, And well filled front. Short coupled with good rear angulation. Another quality bitch of 2yrs, smaller type than first, she had a lovely head with dark eye. Nice length of neck, and good angulation front and rear, when moving away she kept throwing a rear leg in this class, which was a shame as she moved better in the next class. |
